Beautifully Decorated and Quirky 1 Bed Flat in E1

  : We liked the retro look, and everything we needed was there for us, Evan two large bottles of water, very thoughtful, beds were comfortable.
  : 4 flights of steps to get to flat, the area is not very nice, but its not far from tube station.

  : Impressed with the decor, it was a lot better than I imagined. Location is good, close to Aldgate East tube station, nightbuses go very frequently close to the flat. But this isnt on the main road. Walking distance from Tower of London. Shops and a really good pub close by. Key pick up and drop off easy and convenient (only problem if you have big suitcases to lug around). Kitchen comfortable, usable with all the appliances needed, even a washing machine (didnt use). Definitely would stay here again. No contact with the owner/ managing company, phone number was provided for emergencies (not needed for us).
  : Only minor inconveniences: 4th floor (very doable even after walking 20 000 steps during the day, just be aware when coming with suitcases), view from the top is great though! On first inspection and everyday use the flat is clean, but it would benefit from deep cleaning - ceiling fans, under the beds dusty, cupboard behind mirror, the plug didnt fit the tub, although water went down it very slowly, starting to block possibly. Only 3 mugs to drink from for 4 people. A nail in the kitchen floor is raised, our socks got stuck on it, luckily nothing more. Easily fixable.
