  : The location is great, the outside area is very pretty. Staff are nice and friendly.
  : The walls were covered in damp stains, the water pressure is really weak and the shower floor had a couple of very large cracks, it feels like your feet might go through when you're standing on it. They forgot to put toilet roll in the bathroom so went down to ask for some, and were given a roll that's meant to fit into the holders in the pub toilets because they didn't know where the hotel ones were. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard so we didn't sleep well, and were aching in the morning. The worst thing was being woken up at 7.30 by very loud banging that made the floor shake and a couple of guys shouting to each other. There was a delivery lorry right outside our window with kegs of alcohol being thrown out onto the floor. The noise went on for half an hour. I understand you need to have orders delivered, but if you have people who have paid to stay with you maybe you could arrange for them to come later. Or maybe don't put anyone in that room where it's the loudest. Didn't notice until the morning that the headboard had gross dried crusty stuff on it, I don't even want to think about what that was

  : We were cancelled on day of arrival. Nobody called me to advise if this, only sent an email which I did not read in time. So turned up at hotel.
