  : The cottage was beautiful, the views from the bedrooms are amazing. Everything you need and so much character. Spotlessly clean and everything you need.
  : The mattresses definitely need to be changed. Sadly we had little sleep due to them as they are extremely uncomfortable and really could do with changing. Such a shame as the cottage itself was perfect but after a bad nights sleep it lets it down.

  : The location was very picturesque with fantastic views across Hythe to the sea. The property was very quaint with a few quirky features such as windows, the staircase and tiny courtyard. The beds were very comfortable with fresh linen and fluffy towels
  : The cottage was very well equipped in the kitchen and everywhere was very clean. It would have been nice to have had another armchair or small sofa, as the lounge looked rather bare with only the two settees and a huge expanse of empty floor. My only other comment would be to leave instructions on how to operate the television. It took ages to fathom it out. There is no wi-fi and the signal for my phone was very poor. This was not a big problem to me, but may be off putting for some people

  : I completely lowered my exceptions before coming as I didn't want to be disappointed and to my own surprise i was not at all. The cottage was pleasantly big and clean. All equipments were made available so no need to worry about bringing anything with you. We came with our food and everything was available for us to cook, grill or microwave, Including a washing machine (which we did not use) and a dish washer. I really enjoyed it.
  : The only thing that is a bit stressful is buying grocery as there are no shops around the area. And also getting around since there are no taxis. We stayed in the cottages to visit the port lympne animal reserve. We didn't have a car so it was a bit of hassle getting to the reserve everyday. They have a bus but the schedule is very random and minimal. We managed to walk (about 20 - 25 minutes walk) all though it was a busy country road and not very conducive for walking. I still enjoyed the trip and the stay.

  : the cottage was much much larger than expected and what the pictures showed so you would be surprised with the space available inside when you get there. We only had 2 adults 2 children in the cottage even though there was capacity for 2 more adults and it would not have felt cramped.
  : there were lots of woodlice in the living room, and no matter how many times we picked them up and got rid of them, more just kept appearing which we didnt enjoy. We were also met with a bat inside the cottage during our stay - it was flying around our bedroom in the middle of the night which woke us up. we managed to trap it in the living room for the rest of the night, and then it reappeared in the morning while we were eating breakfast. None of the windows were open when we came to the cottage, nor did we open any, so the bat mustve been there before we got there. we did not enjoy that experience..!
