Pennine Manor Hotel

Pleasant
Traveller Type: young couple
: The staff who worked so very hard.
: The fact one waitress was looking after a dining room full of guests at breakfast and therefore the food was not available af the same time. Waited 20 mins for breakfast drinks.Waitress was so busy we sat surrounded by dirty tables.Cockroach in bathroom.

Very Poor
Traveller Type: family with young children
: The views from the car park are amazing on a clear day.
: We picked this hotel because it advertised dinner in the restaurant and an EV charge point. We had stayed here previously.Their website misrepresents their offering. The EV charge point didn't work.We had to change rooms as the bathroom door would not open and when they opened it for us it had a broken window stuffed with toilet tissue. There was 1 ceiling light working in the room out of 3 and a screw sticking out of the headboard. My granddaughters room: the shower had no pressure and there were large beetles coming out from a broken sink panel. There was no dinner menu, just a bar menu with no vegetarian or GF options. I had a plate of sweet potato fries for dinner! Same at breakfast, one day was served the other was self service. No vegetarian options and no GF bread. We had to wait for simple things like eggs and hash browns. We were served one small pot of coffee for the table, when we asked for more it never came. This hotel has only about 4 staff, 1 in the kitchen, 1 serving, 1 on reception/bar.

Poor

: The mattress was flat to the bed base. We asked for an alternative room as my partner is 8 months pregnant and no alternative was offered other than a stained mattress topper and sofa cushions. Appalling.

Very Good

Very Good
Traveller Type: young couple
: Clean and friendly welcome. Easy check in
: Loud music being played outside our window for 2 hours. Car park seems to have people in it who are not staying? Hotel staff did sort the issue out
