  : For the two nights we were in the hotel we paid GBP260 for a 6m2 room with two very uncomfortable beds not even next to each other and a bathroom that had a completely rusted heated towel rack. The second night the room was not cleaned nor had fresh towels. When asking the manager, he blamed his personnel not doing a good job. A hotel from hell

  : The only positive I can say way the night porter helping my wife to find a place close.
  : I would be happy to evaluate the stay, but there was no stay. Check in was denied although arrival was clearly before latest check in time (midnight). I booked for my wife and she arriv ed ~22: 30, but was told that no room was available. The booking was done via booking.com. Booking.com as well as the hotel manager were not helpful in getting refunding for additional costs for other (more expensive) place. I really dont care about the money, but after alot of annoying communication with booking.com there was just 20 BP given. This is a lousy gesture for all that stress. The hotel manager was polite on the phone, but in the end did not come back after multiple reminders. I still did not get the info, why the booking went wrong although we received multiple confirmations..com.

  : The room was modern but a little small for a double.The decorations were tasteful but everything just felt not quite sparkle clean.The bathroom was nice but because the room was too small for a double bed you had to squeeze in sideways through the door...
  : When I arrived, the hotel didn't have my room ready and then the manager told me he had been offered more for the deluxe room I was booked into by another customer and the hotel was fully booked.He literally tried to get me to pay more for the deluxe room I had booked but when he realised I wasn't going to agree said that it was fine he could give me the room I had booked.I am unsure what exactly went on then, I can only guess, but he sent a member of staff to get my room ready which I'm sure the cleaners would normally prepare earlier in the day....The room was too small for the bed and you could hardly get into the bathroom as the door hit the bed when it was about a third of the way open.For a property with a score of 8, I felt that the room was just a touch grubby, and that the cleaners could have done a bit better. The shower tray had a few hairs on the floor and the toilet seat had a long black hair on it, not the best sign.For this hotel to be an 8, the integrity of the staff needs addressing and the cleanliness needs to take a small but needed step up.Of course my opinion is only based on one nights stay. The messing around with the rooms could have caused the cleaning issue and the guy on reception may have just had an off night and made a bad call.

  : It was conveniently located close to transportation to both London and Heathrow Airport. It felt cosy and homey. The staff, especially the lovely lady who cooked us breakfast every morning, were friendly and helpful and took pride in their work. We felt well looked after!
  : The room was a little on the small side, though perfectly adequate for two able-bodied people.
