  : The location was excellent - just what we wanted. In a tiny hamlet of approx 10 houses with the view of fields all round. There was no internet or phone signal at the cottage itself which we really liked. You did pick the signals up within 5 minutes drive once you left the cottage though. There is a wood burner with kindling and firelighters and coal provided. It made the room very cosy. The cottage is old, and furnished in keeping with it's age but was comfortable.
  : We felt the kitchen was cluttered and that it was best to wash everything we used. We could not check in till after 6pm because of the enhanced cleaning which is understandable but we did feel that it is very late in the day to arrive. As we had to wash up before we could have dinner it was 8.30pm before we could eat. It would have been nice to have more photos of the cottage interior to see what it was like before we booked.
