Very Poor

  : The location
: The room was not worth what I paid, peeling wallpaper, patched up holes, poorly boxed in electrics, carpet not reaching the carpet grips, soap scum around the shower door, flaky paint by shower cubicle, broken window lock, poorly hung curtains,no net curtains to stop people across the way looking in, poorly hung shelf for coffee kit, with an electric cable and plug, doing nothing, dirty scum and filler around wash hand basin, plug not attached, loose on a chain.. Bed squeezed in between wall and radiator and wardrobe, every time I moved the bed rocked and each way I turned my feet hit the wardrobe or the wall. The facilities were non existent, the restaurant and bar had both closed down, all they had was a small countertop cooler with expensive cans of coke etc . All in all this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I've stayed in hotels all over Europe, the Far East, Central America. If I could give it minus stars I would. The photos on Booking.com are not a true representation of this hotel, they must have been taken 20 years or so ago.

: Location was good for my needs, only 24 mins drive to work the next day, would have been 15 mins in no traffic. Good local amenities around. Liked that they had parking in an area that's fairly central to London and parking is scarce. Liked that the room had everything I needed for the night, including iron and board.
: The advertised photos are very different to reality, borderline false advertising. Carpets are rank, didn't want to walk barefoot on them. Weird nasty smell in the shower, bed uncomfortable, could feel the wires poking through the sheets. Good for one night, no more.

: It was very close to a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Smart TV was good to watch tv at night, AC was nice to keep the room cool however took a little while to kick in. The maids were very polite.
: The receptionist wasnt very helpful, the room whilst neat, was still dirty with stains on the walls loose sockets, dirty tiles in the shower, bits of wallpaper peeling away from corners of the walls. The hotel doesnt have any cutlery so I had to cut my cucumber up with the room key..!
