  : The staff were amazing. Skye was so welcoming on our first day and it just flowed on from there. I cant remember everyone's name but all were so accomodating. Food was excellent. Room was lovely.
  : Very noisy from a function held on our first night. Carpet on stairs leading to rooms needs cleaning. Dirt impression is so important.

  : Lovely building ,beautiful room, great location.
  : There was a very loud humming sound the whole night coming from the direction of outside bathroom window it sounded like a noisy electric fan. Which meant I had maybe two hours sleep and when I complained the next morning was told no one else had ever mentioned it to them and would we like a free bottle of water or a soft drink in compensation and next time we were coming to stay we should mention it and we would get a complimentary alcoholic beverage.There will be no next time. Money should of been deducted from our bill. It was a lot of money to pay for a sleepless night.

  : St Andrews is a lovely place to visit. Hotel location is great within St Andrews- near the shops and main streets Food is nice. Esp Haggis balls. We had eaten there on a previous visit to St Andrews so thought we would stay this time. Room was tidy and spacious St Andrews is not a cheap place to visit, and given the other options, the prices are very fair.
  : It should be made clear that breakfast is not really available until after 9am. if you're an early riser, that feels a bit late. On our first day we were told that breakfast would be available from 8am- but then told we were too early and felt like we were an inconvenience. There are loads of places that do breakfast in St Andrews- why not just give a voucher to guests? The food is tasty and good value but we decided to eat elsewhere on second two nights after they had tried to give us a really small table. It is a pub with rooms- not a hotel or even really set up for bed and breakfast atm. As there are only 4 rooms that is perhaps fair enough, but the priority is the pub's customers, not the people staying in rooms. Parking is not easy in St Andrews (though probably no worse than most towns) but don't expect to be able to park for free outside the hotel. Pay parking on the street outside hotel and free parking available in St. Andrews but some guests would find it a long walk.
