  : Staff welcoming. Excellent service couldn’t be more helpful. Professional and interested without being over friendly . Breakfast excellent food and service. Ample parking. Good location for city centre.
  : Hadn’t realised the sink was in the bedroom but it probably was clear in the’cosy double’ description I just hadn’t noticed. Would upgrade next time.

  : The greeting on arrival was very professional and the lounge is nicely decorated in a boutique style. The manager and staff were very nice and are a credit to the hotel. They have to deal with a very unpleasant owner who is most definitely not a credit to his hotel.
  : The rooms were tiny and very old fashioned. They do not look like to pictures online. The bathrooms were very small and the shower was a joke and ran hot and cold. Last updated in the 80’s. Very expensive for what you get. No cooked breakfast and we had twenty people fighting over the egg boiler that takes 10 mins for each egg. We were also told they couldn’t serve us food in the evening as they had a large group in. Fair enough we ordered a coffee and retrieved a cookie from my bag. The owner who was standing behind the bar very angrily asked if the cookie was ordered from the hotel and it was not acceptable to eat your own food on the premises. When I pointed out that we had been told the hotel could not provide food of any kind he asked us to identify which member of staff told us that. He questioned “ was it the fat one?”. My colleague and I were utterly disgusted. The owner was utterly obnoxious. As a result I would not return to the establishment. It is mutton dressed as lamb and has a very bad vibe. I must stress that the staff were lovely.

  : Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was great! Quiet peaceful rooms that look to have been recently redecorated. Would definitely stay here again.
