  : Very quiet and peaceful, tranquil. The cabin is permanently in the shade which for me on the hottest week of the year, was lovely and cool, way better than a caravan.
  : The access road is long, very narrow and bendy, I would not like to have to reverse if I met another car! No Wi Fi, phone signal a bit weak in the valley.

  : It was nice and peaceful. A wonderful view in beautiful surroundings. Away from everybody (apart from a few people fishing). Mobile phone reception was okay (we expected none at all).
  : The narrow country lanes were a bit of a challenge. The TV didn't have many channels and needed a freeview update. The TV frequently pixelated and really needed a better aerial. A handrail on the entrance steps would have been a good idea.

  : Had such a lovely few days here. The location was stunning and the host was very friendly. Got greeted on arrival and got straight into our holiday home quicker than expected! The cabin itself was perfect, very clean and tidy with all the essentials need. Beautiful view out of the front window looking onto the lake. The only minor dislike was the lack of comfort from the bed, just a little too spingy. But apart from that nothing to fault

  : Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to experience a stay at Lakeside View cabin. We were turned away in the first minute after arriving. We were put to the fact, that our 4-night booking was for 2, but we arrived 3 (2 adults and a 10y old child), so we broke the contact and are not allowed in. First thing we thought he is joking, as how can you turn down a family with a child so rudely and categorically when night is approaching. Fair enough, we admitted that we made a mistake, obviously not intentionally. We asked if there is a chance (paying extra money for a child) to at least stay for the night, as it was 8pm, we had a long journey from London since 12 oclock. The answer was NO. He said, that this is a contract with the agency and we have to talk to them. We called the agency and they said it is up to the owner to decide if let us in or not. At this point we understood, there will be no compromises and asked if he can recommend or knows any hotel or place nearby, we could stay overnight, the host answered NO. IT IS YOUR PROBLEM. We have been travelling across UK and Europe for years, booked places in UK and Europe, but never came across such unwelcoming, unfriendly, insensitive and unhelpful hosts. No refund was issued either with a pretext booking conditions have been broken. As business owners ourselves, we think that keeping full amount we paid is completely disgraceful considering circumstances.
