  : Lovely property in a remote location making it nice and quiet at nightime. Beautiful room large room, great bathroom with a good shower, useful kitchen facilities in the room including a microwave, 2-ring hob, fridge, sink and all the plates, bowls and cuttlery you need as well as a round table and two chairs to enjoy the continental brakfast.
  : Unfortunately two things really let down our stay. Firstly the bed, although huge, is like a concreat slab to sleep on (and that's coming from someone who's travelled over 50 countries including Japan, where a thin matress on the floor is the norm in many places). If we got 2-hrs sleep each, that was the most. Some people like it hard, some like it soft, so it's important to aim for the middle and provide guests with something in between to cater to all tastes. The second thing is the lack of internet in the room meaning that watching TV is limited to terrestrial channels. Even though the TV in the room is a smart TV, you can't watch Netflix, Prime, iPlayer etc which in todays modern age, is a real downside. We ended up watching a film on our phone.

  : The breakfast was outstanding: fresh eggs, a sourdough loaf, jam, butter, yoghurt, blueberries, cereals and milk plus the usual coffees and teas. Enough to make myself supper too. Abundance!
  : The property was hidden behind a high hedge and I had to contact the owners to stand outside so I could find it.
