  : Nice apartment for what we needed which was 2 night stay while visiting Edinburgh with family. Apartment has very nice almost new finish in bathroom and bedroom with great shower. The host was very quick to help when we had a minor problem with lock box upon leaving and getting into and out of apartment was easy. The host was very good at communicating info about access before hand and parking was free on the street and easy to access. Some nice cafes close (5minutes walking distance) by for breakfast we visited too. The inside of the apartment complex itself (the hallway leading up the stairs and to the apartment) was surprisingly not a nice building compared to how it looked on the outside.
  : Although we had a great stay the beds needed to be more comfortable. The bed in the bedroom is too small for two people and given its such a big room I cant see why a bigger bed isnt used there. The sofa couch in the living room was fine but again not very comfortable. Although we expected this when purchasing we thought it still could have been better. That said, it was fine for two nights stay but any longer would be a struggle. The 200 damage deposit which is paid in advance and was returned is a little off putting.

  : The apartment was well clean, heated up and the check in instructions were clear. The main bedroom was spacious and the toilet was nice. I really appreciate the towel heating rack, it made our stay better.
  : When we arrived, it would have been nice to have the sofa bed made, after the flight we had to spend a lot of time figuring out how to open it. Previously we asked if the flat had a hairdryer, indeed it had one, but besides it being really dirty, it did not heat up enough to dry our hair. The four of us have long hair and with the cold and rain outside, we really needed a good hairdryer. I was also disappointed at how small the living room was, comparing to the photos. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. Perhaps it is a good flat for two, but for four people it can get pretty tight. Id have preferred less decor and more comfort/functioning essentials.

  : The location is a good long walk from the center of everything, however the actual apartment itself is extremely well kitted out, clean and has everything you could need for a couple of days stay. The decor in the apartment is really quirky and we loved it.
  : The walk to the center of everything was tough.

  : The location was very convenient and I enjoyed being close to Arthur's Seat. The neighborhood is a bit rough at night, but fine during the day.
  : Very uncomfortable stay with poor customer service. I stayed for 20 days, which I imagine is substantially longer than most people stay, but my experience did not match other's reviews. The apartment is definitely well decorated, but the apartment is lacking basic/functioning amenities. Off the top of my head the bed is incredibly uncomfortable, the one duvet/blanket provided is thin, the couch is hard, the internet only worked in the living room, the shower leaked for hours after being used, the toilet paper role holder was broken, etc. On top of that the apartment was not very clean when I arrived and I had to spend the first hour cleaning. It was pretty evident that whoever cleaned was not paying close attention, which is not what you want during a pandemic (e.g. half eaten pint of ice cream left in freezer, no soap in bathroom dispenser, spoiled milk in fridge, etc.) This is the first self-catering apartment that I stayed at that did not provide an explanation/orientation book, so I had to guess or text Tony to ask things that could have easily been explained, like how to turn on the heat, where the garbage and recycling went. I had a very negative text exchange with him, so instead just tried to figure things out myself. His customer service was non-existent. I spent a lot of money to stay for 2+ weeks and asked if they would provide more basic amenities after they left me with 1 dishwasher capsule, 2 toilet paper roles, etc despite knowing I was staying for a few weeks. The reply was rude and unhelpful. Finally, this flat is really, really noisy. I could hear one neighbor's TV from 8:00 AM-11:00 PM everyday, could hear another neighbor snoring at night, and was waken up on several evenings at 2:00 AM by a party flat in the building. Would not recommend.
