  : The breakfast staff served my celiac boyfriend a sausage that contained gluten (twice) while the menu specified that it was gluten-free.The mattress was very uncomfortable.Very expensive

  : Easy walking distance to the Royal Mile and to Arthur's Seat. The Wi-Fi worked at any location that was on or next to University of Edinburgh campus. We were allowed to store our luggage for free before check-in and after check-out.
  : Getting to the room from reception/street was complicated/confusing. There was a dirty towel under the couch from a previous guest. When the room was cleaned, they did not give us new towels, we had to ask the following day when the cleaning staff was working on other rooms.

  : The reception staff was friendly and check in was relatively quick. The location was perfect for those travelling light and from the train station, while being close to the city center sights.
  : The KM apartments are located on the 3rd floor, despite the room numbers on the key card noting 1XX. While there are signs once you reach the 1st floor to notify the guest to move to the 3rd floor, the reception staff should kindly remind patrons of this during check-in. Jet lag and tiredness can often make people overlook the signs leading to a frustrating initial experience. The hallways to get to the room is somewhat of a design fault too. It was like going through a small maze to get there, but the room was clean and accommodating. All said, I'm not sure the pricing for our stay was really worth it but I don't know if that is the normal price for this building or if it was because of the season, events, etc.

  : Far too small unit. Struggled to get our suitcases into the unit. It was a very dark unit felt like living in a cave.

  : The alarm was going off for at least 45 minutes across the building, the noise was unacceptable. Nobody was available to switch it off and we were told it was a fairly common occurrence. We left at that point and it had stopped when we got back.

  : Location is reasonable but there are lots of other hotels in a better location for the same price.
  : These apartments are University accommodation. You are staying with students in a block.Also the fire alarm went off at 01.30 the first night.
