  : Beautiful quiet location. Lots of wildlife in the surrounding grounds. Easy to get to many places from the surrounding back roads.
  : Maybe more cups, plates and cutlery in the cottage - we had to run the dishwasher half empty every day, but a minor issue.

  : The location and surroundings were really lovely and the cottage had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space within. The wood burner was very nice and a real treat.
  : Overall the cottage is quite 'tired' with issues of loose door handles, loose taps in the bath and a very awkward to get to window blind in the kitchen. The sofa also was quite dated and very uncomfortable due to the cushions continually sliding off. However probably the worst part was that the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and the mattress was rock hard, additionally as I requested a double (and its 2 singles pushed together) because there wasn't an adequate mattress cover the joint between the two beds was very evident and uncomfy. A decent mattress topper would have solved this. It would also have been useful for the info pack to provide details of the nearest shop, petrol station, where to get fresh stocks of wood for the fire, etc rather than a lot of outdated Covid information.
