  : The Flat was very well furnished, the beds were comfortable and the linen of a very high quality. It was more spacious than we expected
  : The flat was dark, had no views other than looking onto other buildings. It had not been cleaned properly, there was sand & dust/dirt in the hallway/by the doorway, the windowsills in the bedroom were full of dust, the dishwasher was full (& dirty). The website stated all linens provided, but no towels were available so we couldn't have a shower when we arrived (luckily we'd brought a dog towel!!). The location of the flat was misrepresented on the website, it was above & right next door to the only pub open due to lockdown restrictions, meaning incessant, very loud noise as all the patrons were outside the flat all day and night. Both bedrooms were located next to the pub kitchen which made for even more noise disturbance 7am - midnight. We couldn't open a window as it would make the noise even worse. We could hear the dogs and guests next door to us and above us, it was such a stressful experience we left after 36 hours/2 nights as we had no rest, our poor doggie was so stressed out by the incessant noise and we were so extremely disappointed. This was our wedding anniversary holiday (10 years) and we fell in love with Hope Cove a few years ago, haven returned each year since, but this accommodation has soured our view of this beautiful village. The website(s) advertising this property need to be corrected and the owners should invest in some double-glazed windows to help with the noise and ensure that those booking it know what they are getting themselves in for.

  : Location was very good. Parking is always an issue with the location, but we managed to park 5 minutes walk away and the fees were good value.
  : Mobile phone signal was nonexistent and the Wi-Fi very sketchy at times, but that is general issue with the village location.
