  : Great location and building, lots of history and character. We were at the venue for a family wedding, which was excellent. Great setting, everything went to plan a lovely event space. Bar staff were friendly.
  : Room moved day before arrival to room 31, hotel gave a £20 discount for a smaller room for a 2 night stay. The room was tiny, the bathroom felt it used to be a wardrobe, yes very small, you had to reverse in to use the loo and Im quite small. The shower was poor, had trouble getting the direction of water to hit me. Managed it but it took time. This was not value for money. The venue is an amazing building which raises expectation on service, rooms and facilities which sadly lacked. We ate dinner and breakfast, food ok but no better than basic pub food. Service lacks professionalism in the restaurant. The meal for the wedding was good.

  : Beautiful castle, hotel with nice large rooms, comfortable bed, very clean and friendly staff for an excellent price. There is also a good and atmospheric restaurant
  : While the hot breakfast was very nice, the buffet was also disappointment: the berries were from the freezer, the melon unripe and the pastries were industrial products from the supermarket.
