  : I was met by the landlord and everything went well. The pub is a typical rural/small town establishment with a good atmosphere, good beer and friendly locals.
  : Nothing to complain about.

  : Conveniently situated. Only wanted basic for one night. Comfortable bed. Tea and biscuits
  : The bathroom smelt of vomit. It may have been a dirty cloth or mop. But whatever it was, we didnt use the shower and the smell was coming in the room during the night. We arrived 10 mins before we were meant to be somewhere else and got back late. Didnt get chance to complain. Beer barrels delivered at 7.30am. Sounded like they were in our room banging about for half an hour. Men talking and dog barking. Before 8am. I know its a pub. But I wish Id been advised of this before I turned up.

  : This is a traditional local pub with loads of atmosphere. We stayed one night while walking the Thames path. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was large with loads of hot water and we were able to dry our clothes. I thought it was very good value for money.
  : The pub did not do food but you could order in and there are other places to eat in the town. It was not a problem for us.

  : Excellent value and very comfortable facilities. Suited us perfectly.
  : On returning to our room late at night, the rear drive entrance was very dark and one of us fell over (resulting in a knee injury) where there was a puddle and a pot hole/uneven surface in the gravel. I would suggest a sensory light that would illuminate the driveway.
