  : The apartment was a good size and was in the perfect location for the centre of Cockermouth and comes with a parking spot. It was close to the river and all the shops and restaurants/bars. We arrived and noticed that we hadn't got any towels but by the time we had been for a quick walk we got back and they had been sorted out for us.

  : Really friendly host, sent all info in advance of check in. Apartment is ground floor and free parking, all the facilities you could need for a couple of days stay. Allowed to bring our dog so we did move some living room furniture just to make it a bit more spacious but generally a really roomy and comfy space. First time taking dog away and there was no extra charge for the pet which is great. Ground floor apartment made it a bit easier for letting her out for wees/poos, and there is a small patch of grass around the back where we took her.
  : Great benefit of free parking but a bit awkward to get to for bigger cars - small alley way work cars parked on one side so must be confident driver. I didnt enjoy the key method for checking in either - would prefer to have a key for the apartment to feel safer.

  : The location was excellent. The size for perfect for two friends.
  : We found it unfortunate that there was no information pack about the property and surrounding area. There was a magazine about Cockermouth but it was mainly an advertisement mag.As it happened, I was taken ill while we were there so we couldn't do as much as we would have liked and spent a lot of time in the property. Netflix only worked the first night. After that, it was useless. I text the owner who seemed to have ignored my questions.There was no welcome pack like milk, tea which I personally think is a nice touch.In addition there were absolutely no cleaning products in the property. It was unfortunate that on our way home, I was sick. If that had happened in the property, we wouldn't have been able to clean it up. Disinfectant and/or bleach, cloths, mop, etc would have helped. I have never been in a holiday property where nothing of this sort is provided.There was a wear mark on one of the headboards which was unsightly, a mark on one of the curtains and there were cobwebs in various places. This gives the impression that there is no attention to detail or the want to maintain the property well, which is a shame.
