OYO Hotel Mj Kingsway

Pleasant
Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
: The location is excellent,10 minutes walk from the centre of Cleethorpes and situated on the sea front. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little cramped but clean and comfortable.
: I've got to be fair, here. I booked 2 nights at the hotel on the day that I travelled to Cleethorpes. The hotel had only 1 room left (Room 10) and it was at the top of an outdoor staircase. I've had pains in my right leg and found it difficult to climb the stairs. Had I known about the staircase in advance,I would have chosen a different hotel. Since I returned home,I have been bombarded with e-mails from the hotel, asking me for a review. Just 1 would have been sufficient

  : location
: dirty. cobwebs covered the bedroom, carpet disgusting. very clever with the pictures of the hotel

: Unclean the dressing table stool had an inch of dust on it, a cushion on the chairs near the windows had brown marks on it. (God knows what that was)smelly, a pungent smell of damp. The bathroom window had no or little cover, the blind did not close properly & had a broken slat which was just placed on the window sill. The window looked out on to the street, and bath was in front of the window so we had no privacy to use the bath. After checking in, could not contact anyone on reception for a hairdrier, as it wasn't in the room as expected, but in the reception.
