  : Although we live locally, we rented this property over the weekend of my son's wedding so that we could play host on the Sunday to several family members who travelled various distances. The cottage was delightful, most of our relatives had a little tour round and not one had anything negative to say about it, a couple of them said they would actually book it.
  : I have thought quite a bit about this and the only thing I would have an issue with would be the rough track leading to the property but I doubt very much that that would be their responsibility.

  : Comfortable and spacious - particularly loved the wood burner and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Easy access to a variety of amenities and lovely places to enjoy.
  : Not a big fan of the plastic plants decorating the outside of the house and felt that there were possibly too many ornaments, eg, on bathroom pegs. The welcome pack could have been a bit more authentic, but none of these aspects affected our enjoyment. There was initially a bit of a doggy smell downstairs but appreciate other guests will have brought their pets. The road leading to the property was heavily laden with potholes which wasn't great but a small price to pay for a private wooded location.

  : Apart from us having to rewash the plates and glasses (stuck on food) before we could use them, the rest of the house was immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower delivered a good amount of water. There were lots of seating options in the garden and the fairy garden was a nice touch.
  : As soon as we entered the property, we were greeted with notes saying the hosts only allow dogs in the kitchen and the adjoining bathroom. We rent holiday homes so that we can enjoy spending time with our dog so this house did not work at all for us. We spoke to Quay Holidays who were unaware of this rule. There were numerous notices telling us what we could and couldn't do so it felt more like we were in someone's home rather than a property that we had paid to rent. My issue is with the owners not telling people in advance about dogs having to stay in the kitchen, not the rules they choose to impose in their property. Dogs owners: dogs have to be supervised in the garden, and between March and July dogs have to be kept on leads on walks around the property due to nesting birds.

  : Stairs were very steep for my elderly parents and road to property in need of some resurfacing (terrible potholes)

  : The house was beautiful and had everything you needed. Croissants provided as well as good quality soap etc.
  : The road up to the property was in need of repair with several areas of large potholes. I was afraid that we would damage the car. This made me and my family worried while on holiday.
