  : I booked 2 luxury rooms next door to eachother as it was my son's birthday, he has ASD and lives by routine and wanted to make it special for him. I filled out the early check-in online but on arrival the lady said she didn't have my details so I gave them again, so it took longer to check-in in. Our rooms were 325 and 326 and a nice size and we were happy. At 10.45pm I heard the sound of running water and then the ceiling at the dide of my bed started dripping water very quickly onto the bedside table and the plug points and side light. My phone was on the table charging but I managed to move it in time. I rang down to reception 3 times but no answer. Me and my son then went down to reception we were both very anxious and upset as I knew I'd have to change rooms. There were 2 staff at the desk Joanna and Lexi, they apologised and said they could move me to the top floor and made a joke that the ceiling wouldn't leak up there, I wasn't impressed. They then said as a good will we could have a free breakfast that we declined. The room was 408 and you couldn't get to it by lift, it was up a very narrow staircase and was a huge struggle with my suitcase. The room was very small, rather grubby and I couldn't use the bath as it wasn't clean and the toilet was in such a narrow space, not ideal at all. Needless to say that me or my son got hardly any sleep as I was so upset and worried about him being down on the 3rd floor on his own. We checked out early and asked to speak to the manager, I wasn't impressed with his arrogant attitude. He apologised and said it wasn't their fault and these things happen!!He then said that he could offer a 50% refund on the room for our inconvenience. I still haven't had a refund or any response from the hotel. I feel so disappointed as what was meant to be a family celebration night away, it turned into a night from hell. We will never go there again.
  : The room I was moved to was grubby and very small and the towels weren't clean.

  : Everything was good. Splendid building, spacious room with enormous bed. Great staff who went above and beyond in service and friendliness (and that included the cleaning staff who tracked down my phone charger that I had left in my room when I checked out). The breakfast was fine but not spectacular. I had a very nice meal in the bar on the evening of my arrival. Really nothing to fault and I would certainly stay with this chain again.
  : Nothing to complain about. Sorry! I know it makes for a dull review but I really have no complaints.

  : Great Location. In the middle of the city center. The hotel was nice and the rooms were comfortable.
  : A little expensive. I believe it is possible to find similar options for a better price.

  : Very well located and very tidy. Facilities up to a good standard. Staff as helpful as they can be.Easy to get to and from and walkable to most places.
  : Aircon not working properly in one of the rooms we were occupying out of two. Was unusually hot though when we were there. Windows do open which help a bit but then there's street noise and a nigh-club nearby. Check-in was not ready on time, had to wait almost an hour but drinks vouchers were given and they were very very busy.
