  : It’s right in the middle of Cambridge, easy parking, lovely unusual erudite decor, extremely comfortable bed, like sleeping on a cloud. They put us right out on a limb near the sliding doors to the car park and despite there being a wedding nearby, there was no noise really. My mum paid extra for a river view, as this was where she and my dad (long dead) had their frst date (at The Mill), and also where we sat in the outdoor bar (then called Garden) having a drink after we’d scattered his ashes, and watched with much amusement as a swan attacked people walking along the path across the river. A suitably dignified and elegant place for my 89 year old mum to come and say a (probably ) final goodbye to Cambridge. I spent each morning before she woke up in the gym, then sauna, then jacuzi, the pool. What a treat!
  : There was no security between out hotel doors and the oiutside world at all -only our room keys. To sound rather stuck up for a sec, even premier inn makes you use your room key to get onto the corridor. The Graduate is right next to the backs, and Cambridge doesn’t have tyhe best record for crime, let’s be honest. I found this lax security quite astonishing.

  : The location was great and enabled my Mum and I to explore Cambridge. The hotel looked good and definitely delivered in its styling
  : The staff were rude and dismissive! The car park was an additional £25 on top of the £205 room fee! This was not expected and was not made clear in my booking.The hotel looks great and is indeed quirky but unfortunately what it made up in appearance it lacked in comfort. The bed springs could be felt when sleeping. Due to the dismissive staff we decided to leave the hotel to eat, one of my main reasons for booking was for the outside seating and restaurant area, we never got to experience this.
