  : I booked this hotel around 3/4 weeks before my stay and phoned the hotel to discuss parking. Everything seemed normal. However, what they failed to tell me was that the hotel had turned into some sort of homeless/ rehabilitation shelter. I arrived at the dirty looking building and walked into the reception to be greeted by a security guard asking what I was doing. Weird. I told him I was here to check in and he told me that this was no longer a hotel and that I would be staying at a hotel further down the street. I left my car whilst I went to check the other hotel and returned to the car park after to feel very unsafe and intimidated. The other hotel was rude staffed, not the standard of room I booked and not particularly clean. Im massively disappointed in both the hotel and Booking.com for this lack of communication. This hotel is still taking bookings so beware, you are actually booking for a much lower standard hotel down the street. Be aware and be careful of this. Seems very odd to me, especially that Booking.com condone this.

  : Good location but expensive for what you get for the money. Paid 237 for 2 x sea view rooms, got rooms overlooking side street and windows so dirty you could barely see out of them! Partner wanted to pay and still 5 days later waiting for the money back from hotel they took off my card which was card to secure room. Also we booked at The Brighton Hotel and 2 days before our stay were informed wed been moved to The Kings Hotel as Brighton Hotel accommodating homeless. My question is why did they let us book it a couple of weeks back. Whole experience expensive and underwhelming! Positives were nice bar downstairs and room was clean.

  : The room was too hot. The doors were a bit funny (the frame was a bit bigger than the door and you could see the hallway light when you was in bed) The bathroom floor was really squeaky The carpark only had spaces for 2 large cars and we had to use the main carpark down the road
