  : clean room, nice owner!

Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : new and clean
: located right on a busy road with all noises audible if you just open the window. Reception is just a mobile number, never saw a living soul. No sofa or chair in room. Breakfast in the hotel next to guest house. on street parking if you can find a spot.

: Breakfast next door at The Lochside restaurant, wonderful seaside views.

: Breakfasts were large and enjoyable although, as a woman, I found them too much and had to ask for half portions. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. The towels were soft and luxurious. We had a problem with the TV and the light in our room, but it was quickly and efficiently dealt with.
: We had a misunderstanding. We thought we were booking a hotel, but, when we arrived, we discovered it was a guesthouse with few facilities. No safe, no mini-bar, a reception only occasionally manned and we struggled getting suitcases up to our room. At 192 for the room for each night, we imagined it would be better equipped. Perhaps this is the going rate for Islay, but had we known we would have paid extra elsewhere for extra convenience. The restaurant for breakfast is next door to the guesthouse, so again there is a shortfall in convenience.

: Located near the town Centre with all amenities within a short walking distance Comfortable bed ad even a microwave in the room Free Netflix on the Television
: On street parking only but this is free

Pleasant
Traveller Type:
: A comfortable bedroom in the centre of town. Clean small rooms. Plenty of hot water. Delightful host. No on-site staff.
: The breakfast was low quality and service was very slow. Our room was very small and the bathroom was impractical with nowhere to store things. Breakfast is served in a hotel next door. There is a small searing area for shared guest use really no where to relax in bad weather. An expensive option for what you get.
