  : Second visit and found the same. I didn't have a shower because of the dirty shower area and black shower head. Wiped the table with damp paper and it was filthy. The accommodation block outside lock is not used, so security is a concern. The accommodation block entrance and stairs appear never vacuumed and was filthy on both occasions. Not a good first impression, but so easy for the hotel to fix. I phoned mid journey to say I was going to arrive at 11pm which is after the latest 10pm check in in due to flight and road closure delays. On the phone I was told I have no room then and given the direct hotel phone number. No one would answer the phone when the hotel was phoned direct. I arrived at 11pm anyway and the staff were lovely and there wasn't a problem. If they can sort out the after hours agent, clean better and increase the latest check in to 11pm, I will return, because it's in a quiet location. I visit Leicester every 3 months but I will be seeking an alternative next time. Such a pity. It has potential and easy fixes.

  : When we arrived at the property, we had to check our booking to make sure we was at the correct hotel as the one we was at looked in total disrepair, very run down and all boxes and rubbish piled in the windows and surrounding the property. Unfortunately it was the one we had booked it just didn’t look anything like advertised, this property was under construction with no mention of that upon booking.Fast forward to check in, we was greeted by a man in a blue tracksuit and flip flops and a cigarette behind his ear, covered in what only can be described as spilt milk all down his leg!!! He had absolutely no clue how to check people in nor did he have any customer service skills at all as he kept swearing and telling us how much he wanted to smoke a “duby” (drugs). He checked us in the the room with 2 twin beds although we booked a superior double so while my husband went to query this, I stayed in the room and noticed how absolutely filthy it was, splashes all over the walls, lamps and blinds, dirty hand prints all over the doors and something hard and crusty all over the bed (could have been snot, could have been something else) but it was definitely big enough to not be missed!The corridors were full of dirty bedding just chucked on the floor in the corner. Everywhere we looked there was filth.After being told they were fully booked and that room that we was in shouldn’t have been let out as it wasn’t ready by the manager we finally got moved to a slightly cleaner room.About 20 mins After moving i realised my sunglasses had been left in the first room so I went and asked the manager to go and get them me to be told they couldn’t go in as the room was now occupied!!! The room needed fumigation not letting out!
