  : As members of the 80s band Odyssey, we stay overnight in many places around the UK of varying standards, usually just about adequate at a fair price. The Talbot Estates are very well appointed, comfortable, clean, attractive and thoughtfully laid out houses: With simple, straightforward and hassle-free absentee check-in, getting in late from our gig in Birmingham the night we stayed was not only a breeze, but a welcome relief after a very long day. We were soon snug, comfy and chilled out! There was plenty of space for us all to sit and debrief, have some grub, a nightcap, and then make our way to the very nice bedrooms where we all slept well. One of those rare band nights made all the better, being all together in a warm and lovely environment after a fantastic show. Thank you so very much, good people at Talbot Estate.

  : Lovely house but could be improved by little touches
  : The property stated it had 2 sofa beds it didn't they were just sofas, there were 9 of us and only beds for 8. Rubbish bin was over flowing outside the property before we even checked in. Little things broken around the property like towel rail on bathroom, pins sticking out of carpet on stairs. The property could do with a deep clean with regards to skirting boards etc. Building access right next to property they go in at 8am. No parking for 2 cars or kerbs aren't dropped.

  : Location was good. Good quantity of bathrooms. Clean facilities.
  : Would be good to have enough seats in kitchen for beds. Door handle on top floor was broken. Needed to hit reset button on smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector several times.

  : Location - handy for the metro into city centre.
  : Kitchen facilities limited. Not enough cutlery or glasses provided for the number of people staying. No oven gloves etc. Although owner did come promptly with more cutlery when asked. Heating could not be controlled within the property and therefore it was freezing and nothing could be done until the cleaner arrived the next day. Lack of homely touches - no toilet roll holder, no curtains, not enough chairs in living room. Felt like student accommodation. Shower did not work in en-suite.

  : I booked this place to stay with my family and host a family dinner that the host agreed to and was very pleasant about this request.. they start off with present customer service then turn nasty; furthermore the house looks nothing like the pictures it's actually filthy stinks and the beds are awful
  : read their reviews carefully they manipulate there reviews by holding security deposits at ransom, you will see generic survey reviews with no comments,,, Doors and walls had been punched, the host are actually a bunch of thugs they agreed for me to host a dinner / then used this information to keep my 200 pounds security deposit. This dispute is still unresolved with the host / the host birmingham estate asked me to log a positive review in order to get 100 back from my deposit.. please think before you book with this host...

  : The house is very dirty, full of flies, spiders, dirty furnitures, Ive got videos to prove it, the host not as helpful as other properties Ive stayed in, location also not the safest, I personally would never want to stay in this property ever again, let alone we paid twice more that our neighbour did for 3 nights. TERRIBLE.
