  : My daughter booked for us and paid, on the day we were leaving we were told the room hadnt been paid for and that someone would have to payWe phoned my daughter and she spoke to the lady and explained that she had paid ten days earlier through booking.com. She was told there was no record of payment and that shed have to contact booking.com to sort it out! My daughter sent a photograph of her bank statement confirming payment and she eventually decided to check the computer and found that it had obviously been paid but made no apology, just said that we should have booked and paid directly with them! Why put your b&b on booking.com if you dont want to use them and why make us feel like we were being held to ransom when she should have had some sort of record of the payments made? Apart from that, tea and coffee was perched on high unit, very dangerous when trying to make tea with boiling kettle! Breakfast wasnt great either. We wouldnt stay again, it upset us being asked to pay when it was supposed to have been a treat from our daughter. Very rude and inefficient!

  : Breakfast was excellent, a great choice, we had a really warm welcome and the room had lots of lovely extra touches to make the stay comfortable. Great Central location.

  : Breakfast was exceptional- fresh and beautifully presented. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Very central location. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom had lots of storage space, unlike many B&Bs. Small folding tables a nice extra touch.
  : Room on the small side (no. 4), but we booked at short notice, so may have been last one available - some of the others looked a lot bigger. NB stairs are steep, which didn't bother us, but not so good if you have mobility issues
