  : The lodge is nestled in the woods, apart from the road nearby its a quiet area. There is a lovely pub a few mins walk away from the lodge. The place has been well kept and we loved the balcony for our breakfast.
  : The fridge wasnt clean when we arrived so that could have been better.

  : Just a naturally beautiful area! The cabin has everything you need for a quiet retreat and is a short drive from interesting walks - I'd thoroughly recommend Puck's Glen and Benmore Botanic Garden. There is a pub literally a 3 minutes walk away with decent food and friendly staff

  : Pleasant little lodge in a very secluded and quiet area.
  : Pub close by needs to be booked went for tea and told it was full yet there was no one in there. Plus poor selection of drinks.

  : We like the site we have stayed on this site before it is quiet and peaceful with stunning views of loch eck and lovely pub just up the road. Lovely walks on our doorstep as well. Good working shower and hot water .lovely sitting watching the birds in the morning out the window.
  : The cabin did not meet our expectations with regard to the decor. It is very dated and quite gloomy inside . Shabby curtains and very uncomfortable sofa and chairs. Did think basic things such as a dustpan and brush would be kept at the cabin but we had to go out and buy one the Hoover absolutely stunk when used and no new bags anywhere to be found. We did not feel the cabin was cleaned thoroughly when we arrived,which is not an unreasonable expectation.I had to clean it all myself. Stained pillows on the bed,the wardrobe door was hanging off the runners my husband spend half an hour putting it back on. Just felt like the whole place needs abit of TLC and could do with upgrading pictures and curtains the ones in the bedroom smelt stale and made whole bedroom smell. The actual location of the cabin was a magnet for the midges did feel maybe a fan at least could have been supplied to Help with this but we had to buy our own We would have brought one from home had we have known there would not be one in cabin. More information regarding recommendations for what to bring to help with midges would have helped and saved us having the first few days of being bitten to death until we could get out and source a fan and other midge repellents The majority of the time we were unable to open any windows or have the door open as they were so bad This is not a fault of the actual cabin it is just simply because it is right among the trees and lower down than others.however , basic supplies, from previous stays on this site and other sites have always been available. Toilet seat was also loose and the bath mat really needs to be renewed it was dirty and breeding ground for bacteria luckily we had taken our own one so we did not need to use it. Basic things like this and the pillows do not cost a lot to replace or renew and when we have saved and spent so long looking forward to our break it was rather disappointing to find such things were just not up to standard.
