  : Great view of bath as we sat outside to eat. Friendly staff, Kitchen and room all clean. We hadn't booked for an ensuite but were given one.

  : Thin flat pillows, thin flat plastic mattresses that make a noise every time someone moves.. Extremely noisy, can hear everything through the thin walls. Our room was in a separate building, that was across a lawn and up 2.5 flights of stairs, away from the building that had drinking water, kettle, fridge etc, so it was a rigmarole just to get a cuppa or some water. You have to park your car on the street, and walk up the long steep driveway to get to the first building, then further to ours, the next building. They didn't have many of the things on the menu, no ice creams, no pizza. Shower was terrible. Poor water pressure, and the nozzle didn't stay in the holder, so you had to hold it if you didn't want the water to go everywhere. They charged me twice for the room, and I had to chase it up to get the refund.

  : The noise from people walking around on the next floor was terrible and the same with a washer and a dryer that was running until 00:30 in the night and kept me awake. I am not used to hostels and for my taste the madras was quite hard.

  : The place is really pretty, there's a self-catering kitchen as well as dining options, the back yard has a beautiful view of the skyline, and the location is amazing. Just a 20 minute walk to the center of Bath and to the train station!
  : The entire place smells awful, likely due to the open bathrooms in the hallway. It smells moldy and feels humid. It's pretty, but this was fairly uncomfortable to deal with.
