: Exceptionally clean, friendly staff lovely little restaurant with fresh cooked breakfast. Parking outside if you got there early enough
: A lot of stairs to room. Road noise but probably worse than usual due to a diversion. Would have liked a little more flat surface space to work on

: Breakfast was somewhat good, area was good. 20 min walk to train station and an easy 9 min commute to Bath spa. Found an amazing Italian restaurant 20 min if that walk, Lavianos, reasonably priced best Italian food weve had in a very long time.
: Staff were polite but did nothing except what was bare minimum. Disappointing lack of welcome. They need double pane windows our room #20 faced a very busy street, I think its the highway. It was like the windows were wide open. I dont think they were full and I believe there are only 2 rooms facing highway why they put us there is interesting. With the lacklustre response we received when we asked if it possible to sit in restaurant or anywhere with a table before it opened in the morning. There is no common area to sit except one chair in front of reception. We decided to have as little contact with hotel as possible. Interesting enough we stayed at about 10 facilities this trip all very friendly and welcoming. This one made us feel unwelcome and not to bother asking one bit more then they deemed to allow us. Even asking for a second cup of filtered coffee that was in a pot left us feeling we were asking too much. Cleaning staff made our bed but left dirty towels on shower floor where we had left to be changed. Odd thing is they moved our toothbrush from the bathroom to table in room. Curious. Bed was soft and a little saggy.

  : The location
: The room was dated. No air conditioning. Was noisy at night. The electric shower wasnt great and the water pressure was bad.

Disappointing

  : Breakfast
: Male member of staff was unfriendly and didnt smile at us. The walls were far too thin. We could hear the couple next door meaning we we kept awake.

: Breakfast was nice with vegetarian option
: Noisy, not great value for money (less expensive in the area when we booked though). Dont dare to forget anything in the room because you will never see it again. I forgot my phone charger, contacted the property the day we checked out saying our room number and what I forgot. Is took them 2 days to just told me that they have plenty. They did not even checked if they had mine. And a week later after several messages, they finally reply me they cant send it back because they dont have it.
