  : Exceptional clean, well located and we found the owners very friendly and helpful. Spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Despite the COVID restrictions it was perfect for a self catering holiday in the Galloway Forest.

  : A great location, easy access to every interesting place in the area, lots of nice walk even without car! The property is large enough to accommodate 5 people. Taking the price into account, don't complain about the kitchen, you are there to explore outdoor:-) We had a brilliant week there!

  : The location was absolutely superb! I've travelled to this area so many times before, but was especially pleased to have been able to be right where I wished to be, and not have to travel to it before I walked around the area. There's plenty of walking and cycling to do locally, indeed I didn't spend much time elsewhere. Peace, tranquility, wildlife, quiet - it's a perfect place for forest loving people. Easy to travel to town to get provisions and company if you wish. Hosts very amenable, and helpful.
  : Not much I didn't like, really. I personally prefer carpet in the lounge, but if you have a dog, and this property allows canines, then it's probably easier to clean so I can see the practicality. Also this property didn't have a bath - the one I wanted was booked - but the shower was excellent and worked very well, with good water pressure and pleasantly warm.

  : The cottage was comfy and warm. Glentrool was a short walk away and that was lovely. It was really useful having the bike shed too!
  : I fixed a couple of the pans that had wobbly handles while I was there. The cooker could do with a touch up. Minor, minor niggles!
