  : main oven was filthy could do with a good clean This is not a criticism as we new when we booked but the property could do with a cloak room with a toilet and sink downstairs as when 6 stay the queues for the loo can be lengthy especially when returning from a long walk

  : The cottage is in a beautiful setting, great for exploring the local area. The cottage has excellent facilities and suited us as a large family group of different ages. It was good to have different areas to sit, play and relax.It was great to have an enclosed garden where the kids could play and run around without too many worries and the hot tub is a great feature and was enjoyed by us all. As we had 3 cars we parked the extra one just up the road at the little car park was very easy to do and more than happy to make a donation as requested by the signs in the car park. It was great value for money and we would certainly recommend the cottage and will consider rebooking if we are back in the area.
  : The only comment I would make is the bathroom could do with a lockable door, just a simple latch/bolt would suffice, nothing fancy would just stop the occasional ooops someone is already in there! and the kids joining you when you're after a peaceful 5 minutes. Also it could have done with a vacuum as we then could have quickly cleaned up after the kids had been outside (bits of grass coming in) and also from general use, the brush and dustpan was adequate but would have been much easier to just run a vacuum round.

  : The location is beautiful, helpful and friendly host, lovely hot tub and wonderful underfloor heating
  : The outside lights had unfortunately blown a fuse before our arrival, and werent fixed until the 5th day, which slightly affected our enjoyment of the hot tub after dark. However the host was excellent at communicating and very helpful.

  : Ample parking space, heating worked well, a maintained garden at the rear. Linen appeared clean. Working dishwasher and fridge. The internet speeds hover around 33 to 36mbps. A shop nearby at walking distance.
  : Minimum light outside at the front amd the rear. Used condom with its wrapper was left on the floor in one of the rooms (in plain sight) hence we decided not to use that room and thus the kids had to share a room. The tv in the living area is dated and you really have to crank up the volume to hear anything.

  : Excellent property, lots of space. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of games and books to keep us all busy on a rainy day. The hot tub and decking area was a particular highlight. Location is excellent for exploring southern peak districts towns of Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton and the lovely cheese shop at Hartington.
  : Heating was noisy during first night but soon fixed by turning one radiator off. Other than this we couldnt fault the property at all.
