  : All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was ideally located and had plenty of parking.
  : There were highly visible signs that indicated the terrace closed at 11pm. However, on our 2nd night, there were a group of 4 who stayed on the terrace until 1.30 to 2am who were very loud and had no respect for other residents.

  : The property and location were beautiful.
  : On arrival, the receptionist/front of house had extremely bad broken English, I had to ask him to repeat several times to try to understand. All the carpets were badly stained on the stairs, hallways and in the room, the air conditioning unit would only blow cold air and it's October, both kettle and coffee machines were half full of water, we had no idea how long that had been standing, didn't feel welcome at breakfast staff not very friendly, I had paid for a double superior room and expected a better service and quality of accommodation for the price. I left a day early and booked a premium inn for 1 night the accommodation was cleaner and the staff must more welcoming for a fraction ot the cost of the Crown, I will not return to the Crown.

  : The room was in the block behind the main building. It was modern and very clean. Mattresses were firm and felt new. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options and a friendly welcome from Korina who couldn't do enough for us. Dan, the night porter was also very friendly and helpful. The indian meal taken in the restaurant in the evening was outstanding, the food was delicious and well cooked, and the waiting staff were accommodating and informative.
  : Room fob was a horse brass with the room number on a small sticker on the back. We handed our keys in on the first night before going into London, on our return the reception desk couldn't find our key so gave us a spare. The key was never found for the duration of our 2 night stay. To avoid this happening again, the key fobs for the rooms should be reconsidered to something much clearer.

  : A lovely hotel situated in the centre of the beautiful historic Amersham Old Town. All the staff were excellent - very friendly, welcoming and helpful.The breakfasts were also excellent with a good choice of food. Bedroom comfortable and good quiet air conditioner.
  : The supplies in the bathroom. Although a lovely bath in the bathroom, no bubble bath soak was provided. After asking, one small tube was provided for both of us for 3 night's stay ! Also only one small.soap tablet was provided during our stay.
