  : Good location, close to Southwold, Aldeburgh and other local places of interest.Comfortable room, bed and hotel quality bedlinen. Nice Gardens and sitting/eating out area. Excellent cooked breakfast, hosts very friendly and helpful with ideas for eating out, places to visit.
  : Nothing really, only that a mini fridge would have been useful for cold drinks snacks!

  : Hare Lodge was in a very quiet location in beautiful countryside within walking distance of the village. The facilities in the self catering rooms were excellent. Loved the tasteful decor which had such a restful feel about it.
  : Whilst the decor was beautiful all through one thing that would improve it for us was some sort of blackout on the bedroom window. The sun was up at 5 in the morning filling the room with bright light. This might not be a bother to early dawn risers, but it’s nice to have a sleep in when on holiday!

  : We loved the tranquil location in the middle of the lovely Suffolk countryside - the ideal base for our exploration of the area and less than 20 minutes walk to a lovely local pub / restaurant. The accommodation at Hare Lodge was beautifully arranged around a huge garden and everything felt fresh, decorated in simple, attractive colours and spotlessly clean. Our room faced onto the garden and there were great little touches: tea & coffee making facilities with fresh milk delivered each evening in a flask; plenty of hanging and storage space; a good shower in a smartly tiled bathroom with an illuminated mirror over the sink, comfortable bed with good pillows and crisp linen. We felt totally relaxed and Gary & Tracy were absolutely lovely hosts. Breakfast was exceptionally good, served in the conservatory overlooking the garden - the perfect start to each of our two mornings.
