  : I made a reservation for 3 nights at the Grand Beyazit hotel 27th-29th Sept via my booking.com account. Upon arrival we was taken upto the 7th (last floor) which was the only hotel room on that floor and was also next door to the restaurant. The hotel room was very noisy due to being the only room in the hotel next to the restaurant. The layout of the room was not the same as the photos advertised or the other rooms in the hotel. The toilet was located next to the bed with no seclusion and did not give me the privacy I would expect as a minimum standard. I viewed other rooms and this was the only one with the toilet layout like this. I am a very regular business traveler to Istanbul. A safe deposit box is my top priority when searching for hotels and this hotel matched the description to meet my needs. The safe in the room was not attached to anything so my security to leave my personal belongings was jeprodised. The hotel advertised gym facilities but on arrival the machines was out of order even though the manager stated that they was working fine. The juices in the restaurant was watered down. I viewed safes in other rooms but it was the same situation with the safe in all of the rooms, they were not locked down. I found the manager very rude, unhelpful and unprofessional and he didnt offer to resolve any of these issues. The manager said he couldnt offer me a refund due to me booking through Booking.com and for me to contact yourself to request a refund for the remaining 2 days I have prepaid for. I lost out on my business time as I couldnt leave my possessions safely. Due to this reason we checked out on the 28th September and booked into another hotel. Also to ad they are charging $25 dollars for a sauna which is ridiculous considering all the hotels in the area are free, and the gym is very outdated and out of order.
