  : This is a charming little hotel, in the heart of the historic centre of Goreme. The room was small, but perfect for a short stay. It was very clean, towels changed daily. The breakfast was basic, but good and included fresh coffee. The staff were quiet, but helpful when asked. The view from the rooftop is exceptional, it has 360 views, perfect for watching the balloons at sunrise and some of the balloons go directly above the hotel! Yes, it is on a hill, but so is the whole of Goreme, and this hotel is one of the less challenging hills. We would be happy to stay here again. Excellent value for money.
  : The carpets and cushions on the rooftop viewing terrace are very old, dirty and have holes in, they also smell bad. A bit of TLC would make this area so much nicer for guests who go there to watch the hot air balloons. Also a few coat hangers in the bedroom would be handy.

  : The location is closeby to the market place.
  : Not maintained well. Breakfast is mediocre with just boiled eggs, bread, tea , coffee, no juices, no freshly made eggs, and no fresh fruits. It was a disappointing breakfast. The bathroom is not clean.

  : Really nice cave style hotel with a great rooftop to see the sunrise from!
  : Wifi in our room was dodgy at best and barely worked. For the price paid we would have expected some bedside tables next to the bed. We also arrived after a 8 hour bus from Alanya. We enquired about how much a taxi would cost from Nevsehir bus station beforehand. Response from property was to expect around 350Lira...well on meter it was 550L (taking the most direct route). Night manager on arrival seemed disinterested when we let him know for benefit of other guests, and no welcome drink offered. He gave us weird unwelcoming vibes, maybe he was tired too.

  : - everyday fresh water and fresh towels - nice and friendly staff, very helpful and forthcoming - location was perfect only a couple hundred meter to the center! - small and cute
  : - !!! mold in the bathroom (2 pictures added) !!!!!- bathroom was rather small and the shower was in in the middle of the bathroom, without glass covering/doors, which means that the whole bathroom eg. sink, toilet, toilet paper, etc got wet while showering - breakfast could be improved - no cushions and carpets on the rooftopThe only reason I booked this pension was bc of the rooftop with cushions and carpets but i was very very disappointed as I arrived there and the rooftop was just plain with out anything All in all, for the value of money there are better options, i have found a lot of cheaper hotels (without rooftop bar as described) but the reason we booked non of them, you already know.

  : The breakfast was good and with several options. The location is really nice right in the center of Goreme and with great view of the hot air balloons. The staff was very helpful.
  : The shower is in the middle of the bathroom, so the floor of the whole bathroom gets wet. The rooftop is not as shown in the photos, the view is great but it is not well kept and the cushions are old and torned. There was no wifi in the bedroom.

  : The worst thing was three steps to the room door, and no light fixture. Mentioned it twice still no lightbulb was put in. short on towels to start with omitted to change the bath mat which got quite wet due to layout of open shower found out a bit dangerous as the height of the steps were different levels, and the top step was quite narrow We had to use our phone flashlight.

  : Location was excellent, in the heart of Goreme, with beautiful views. Quirky accommodation with lots of character.
  : The breakfast could have been better, no fresh fruit, which is unusual for Turkey. Communication was not clear about how to go about booking a hot air balloon ride. I would advise booking with balloon company before you go. However Kookaburra did manage to arrange a balloon ride on the last day.
