  : Not much to like here.
  : It was not possible to pay by card. Like realy ? In 2023? Dont expect from night shift receptionist to speak english, however he tried its best. On the bed there was just the sheets, which didnt smell good and blankets were in wardrobe. And also prepare for very intimate staying, since "bathroom", with some mold on the celling, is behind the semi translucent glass, so not great for work travels. Didnt cost much, but still, was presented better on pictures.

  : The hostel was great and only few minutes from center I appreciated that they waited for me at 2am a good and cheap coffee machine in the corridor

  : This is good, basic accommodation - clearly much of it is student accommodation, with the possibility of casual visitors taking shared or private rooms. It's good and very well priced. The one drawback for anyone without a car is that it's a good 30-40 minute walk from the centre of town. But it is right by a small local station with an hourly service, and this makes it easier to access. There isn't much in the local neighbourhood, but the walk along the river into town looks very pleasant, and for inexpensive basic accommodation in Maribor this does well. Oh, and it's cash only!
  : It would be helpful to know in advance that payment can only be made in cash. This meant a walk out to find a cash point, and I'd hate to have been doing that late at night.
