  : The location was great.
  : We have previously stayed at another house owned by the same owner - and sure, the house was old and needed some TLC but it was not that bad. This stay was downright horrible. We had 2 kids with us, and everything in the house was dangerous. We were met with giant ice taps over the stairs up to the door, which we needed to take down ourselves. We have contacted the owner who said someone would come fix it, but it never happened. We found a way of kicking the ice taps down through upstairs windows - dangerous way of dealing with it, but even more dangerous to have them hanging over the stairs. Freezer door was off, upstairs shower doors and shower head were broken; scorching hot water downstairs because of the pipes location right in the sauna; the fireplace didn't function - totally blocked chimney pipe .. I mean the list that just keeps on going. Please give some attention to the house - renovate and make it safe for the guests. It was cheap , yes, that is the only reason it is not getting a "1" for score.

  : I hate to write this review as we have just had the most amazing holiday and this will paint a negative picture (sadly) when I do not want to tarnish our time in re. So firstly re is a great place to ski with wide variety of pistes for all levels! We had read some of the reviews so were a little aware but had hoped that it wouldnt be so bad. We had the two upstairs apartments - 19B and C. Putting it bluntly its falling apart - its not being invested in and I would be surprised if its structurally sound. The wooden steps and veranda are all rotten and inside things seem just as bad. If you book please note that the owners photos are deceptive. Ive added some tips at the end of this review. It is cheap but in my opinion, the owners still have responsibility to keep it safe and maintain the property. The sheets and towels we ordered were SEK3000 and they were clean and delivered to our door. We also paid a cleaning fee of SEK700. Pros Location - with a short walk to the ski-way, you can ski down to the resort. Size - its spacious and we had some wonderful social evenings all together in one apartment (we only had 5 in each albeit they can sleep 10 each) Heat - the apartment is warm, and the water is very hot Kitchen - there are pans etc so not badly equipped (albeit all old and worn
  : Here goes cons Entrance - the entrance is not looked after or prepared for guests - a simple scattering of salt by every guest (salt provided by the owner) would prevent the massive build up of ice which is dangerous. We spent two hours smashing ice up to make it safe after two people fell before even reaching the first step. Electrics - the electrics are unsafe - the wires get hot, and smell at times. We turned things off at the fuse box to keep us safe. Surely this is unacceptable. Hot water - be careful as it will scold you so always start from cold water and gradually warm up. Showers - the showers are broken. The upstairs one leaks, the downstairs one has no holder. They are also worn out and old. Toilets - they flush but theyre awful. Constantly water around the base on the toilets. Kitchen - old and worn out. The dishwasher slides out but it still works! The oven door doesnt really close but again it works. The freezer door fell off as I opened it so we couldnt use it at all. Lounge - the sofa is large but it is totally broken the legs have broken so it does tip over completely!! That said we did have some lovely nights relaxing Garage - the floor is covered in nails so be careful with your car tyres. Its also full of old rubbish - its just unpleasant. Simple things - there are also lots of other things wrong throughout like the locks of toilets falling off, doors difficult open and so much more. Tips If youre arriving in winter, buy some salt en route to lay whilst youre there. Get to know the fuse box. If youre self catering, you may be worth bringing a few utensils and tin opener etc My best tip is probably to keep looking for another property and only stay here as a last resort.

  : The ONLY thing we liked was the location.
  : Do not go there. Simply just dont. The place is build so poorly that its dangerous. The stairs and electrics are hazardous. The whole place reeks of cigarettes and mildew. I got respiratory issues just by staying a single night. All of our clothes and linen needed to be aired out for a day to get the stench out. The whole place is dirty and the bath rooms are in a revolting condition. The fridge stank of something nasty. Also the water from the tap smelled awfull. The pictures are taken years back and do not display the place as it currently is. Afterwards its no suprice the place does not accept a credit card, but a direct wire transfer. Im hoping Booking.com would ban this place from their site. Simply the worst place Ive stayed in the Nordics.

  : Fantastic view over the ""Renfjell" moantains, peaceful location in the end of the road, no trafic. Very pleasant room solution and lovly furnitures. Well equiped.
