: Me, my wife and our newborn daughter stopped in this “hotel” after a long trip, we were very tired but forced to wait for over 20 minutes due to a document inspection at the reception, nothing was offered to us to compensate the time loss. In accordance with the Russian law, me and my wife gave our Russian passports as well as the translated birth certificate of our daughter with double citizenship, so everything was fine from our side. I’m not sure if this is an hotel or just a bad version of a border customs check as we never encountered something like this in all the Russian hotels we have stayed previously.The hotel positions itself as a “no smoking” area and makes you sign some papers to agree with their policies, however, the room has an ashtray on the balcony for some reason, this clearly goes against what they claim to be. Parking is not private as mentioned on booking description, it’s available only with additional charge otherwise the car will be parked in a public area. The staff at the reception was very rude, I brought a 5000 rubles banknote to pay for two beers in the minibar, but the administrator named Ruslan (Руслан) accused me that the banknote was false first, then he said that they couldn’t change it, and after a quarrel he has gone to a place nearby to change the banknote in order to give me the change, so it turned out that my banknote was not false and their device to check if a banknote is legit or not, is not working properly.Also, the same Ruslan brought a second duvet on request (since the room claimed to have two of them but only one was present) but he brought it without the duvet cover, therefore we had to go back down again asking to put the cover on it for us.Very, very bad experience. Not recommended for any foreigner or traveler from the EU or US
