  : Proximity to town. Clean.
  : Lack of good cooking utensils. No plugs for the sinks. The beds weren’t made and we had to do this ourselves, which was difficult in the loft. Also missing the correct sheets if we wanted to make both beds. You could hear people in the other apartments around you. Lack of information pamphlets about what to do in Saint Petersburg. Also the communication with the owner was not good. We told her what time we would be arriving at the property and when we got there no one was there. We then had to call her and wait another 20 mins late at night for her to arrive. She also demanded cash payment when we arrived which we didn’t have. When we agreed on a time for her to collect the money the next morning she arrived an hour earlier then the arranged time banging on the door, this was both unnecessary and frightening.

  : It was terrible. I believe that all of the positive comments are from owners friends as they are not true.Firstly, we were in a 3 bedroom apartment and the location is different from the one listed on Booking.com - for me this is unacceptable.Secondly,the apartment is so filthy, I do not know if it was ever cleand. We were affraid to use dishes - first time in my life.Thirdly, one fan and 3 bedrooms - how does that work?Forthly, it smells really bed. Please prepare yourself.Fifthly the owner said in one of the replies that because they are historical buildings you could not install air condition, but apparently PVC windows are OK and thw windows have ZERO noise reduction, at night you feel like the cars are driving next to your bed.I talked to the owner through the phone and this guy is not family nice guy, surfing the world. No it is classical bussines owner who wants to invest as little as possible and earn a fortune.I hope my comment matters and it will help at least one person to avoid the apartment.

  : Nice place, very good location and very nice and responsive owner. On the end we get a little present, magnet of the city.
  : For 4 people with a lot of luggage it is a little bit small, but anyway you can manage. We miss one more chair, to seat all by the table, there are only 3.

  : There really was nothing special abput the place. You could get a better value as far as location goes for the same facilities.
  : First of all, the place looks nothing like the photos, I believe that the photos may be of a differebt place. In reality it's a tiny dark room with one bed and another bed in a home-made loft above it. The bathroom is really tiny and you can't even sit on toilet without being vent over in a fetal position. DO NOT use the washing machine as it will ruin your clothes! Owner demanded cash upfront, even though normally one would pay through booking.com. It was very hot with no a.c., owner did provide a second fan when requested. Location is ok but far from center. You have to go through a huge weird courtyard to get to the place... the place us at ground level so anyone passing by can look right into the windows.
