  : Thursday night we arrived at Hotel Andy, which I had previously booked. I was immediately alarmed by the very strong smell of sewage in the room. I asked to be moved to another room. The owner or receptionist refused and said that this problem exists in all rooms. If this was known in advance then why didnt he notify us so that we could rebook another hotel?Since we arrived after midnight in an unfamiliar city, we had to stay in this dirty and smelly room with a broken lock, where we could not sleep after a long flight. In the morning, the owner did not react to the complaints about the room. I demand a full refund of the stay and an apology from the side hotels.I also attempted to have a shower as we had been travelling since early Morning. But to my horror the water in the shower would not go down the plug hole. This meant that the shower base filled with water very quickly. The shower base had not been cleaned well and all types of debris appeared in the shower base. I got out as quick as I could but my foot started to irritate me and I had redness on my foot. We did not sleep all night as we were scared if the broken lock would allow someone easy access to our room. The experience was dreadful and I hope there is something can be done to compensate us for this booking?Regards Inna

  : Very cheap with very good location. Everything is serviceable. Had ac. The windows provide very good isolation so you barely hear any noise at night.
  : While nothing was bad, don't expect luxury. This is a functional hotel for people who want to stay a night or two in Bucharest.The smell everyone is complaining about is not nearly as bad as it's made out to be in other reviews.Some things were a little janky like a dangling extension chord powering the ac, a light switch right next to your head when you sleep or the water pipes making strange noises, but nothing is a deal breaker.
