  : They let me check out 2 hours later than official check out time. I had to change my room twice but at least they agreed for that without long discussions.Towels and bad linen were clean... at least.
  : Hard to start as basically the whole place is unacceptable. During my 4 night stay I had to change the room twice and if there was any other accomodation available I would change but there was nothing free last minute close to that location, which was crutial for me.To list the things I dislike:1. They changed the room rate by 20% and I only learned last minute before I took my flight when I got new confirmation email from Booking. I called the hostel to ask about it but they disconnected. Only with help of Booking I could have got my room rate back to the original one. Still it costed my some nerves and few calls just before departure. The explanation they gave was they had wrong prices in their system.2. There was hardly any internet connection in my firts room, 4th floor. As I had to work from my room, I asked to change to floor 3 where it was a bit better.3. The shower cabin in my second room had no door so apart from the fact the water was stacked in the cabin, it was also all around it on the floor. I asked to change the room.4. Cold water most of the time, especially weekend when apparently more people was in. Only occasionaly I had some hot water available.5. Last but not least... the whole room was very dirty! Before I changed to my last room I asked if it was clean (after I already had some experience with previous one). They said yes but when I was there it was clearly far from clean: I found the trash left by previous guest in the dust bin in the bathroom, opened leftovers of single service shampoos and shower gels and lots of hair on the floor. You could see cigarette ash in the corners. I asked the cleaning lady I found on the floor if she could clean it and she at least removed the trash...All in all I strongly recommend to avoid that place. Have no idea how it is possible it gets all of the nice comments I saw on Booking (unless some hidden floor is available as well).My rate is 3.3 for the few positives below...

  : The only thing that could be liked is the location.
  : Smell of a canal is carried everywhere, clogged siphon in the bathroom. Waste water crack. For 11 nights the linen was not changed, the room was cleaned only once. Without toilet paper last four days. Some of the electricity bulbs do not work. If I had not pre-paid, I would not have stayed there.

  : The only good thing is that the room was warm and very close to metro station and a good Turkish restaurant
  : The price was overrated for this room. You could find way better hotels or apartments a few EUR more much closer to Old Town.

  : One lady at the reception was rather nice.
  : The air conditioning was not blowing out cool air, not even at 16 degreese and full fans. It displayed an error which, after an internet search, it seemed to be easily fixable if ever that air conditioner had seen some cleaning in it's whole life. With days of more than 32 degreese celsius, not having a proper air conditioner is awful. And it wasn't just in my own room. My friends in other rooms experienced the same thing.But we were too busy killing cockroaches and getting fried alive in the elevator to remember the air conditioner, the dirty rooms and godawful walls.Even the goddamn tv remote control batteries ran out after 10 minutes of usage and the answer is "sorry, there's nothing I can do". For real? Here's another fun one: there is a bigass sign saying in 4 languages that "payment by card is done until 16:00 and not in weekends". Hello, 20th century! Also, the process of getting your room is the following: you go to the reception, you fill out whatever you need to, then you might wanna pay, yes? Sure, but you have to go to the 2nd floor, x door on the left, stay in a queue to enter a small-ass room to pay, get a file, go back down, get a huge-ass envelope with the useless tv remote control and the pointless air conditioner remote control along with the key. This process is to be done using the scorching hot elevator while saying "howdy" to the friendly neighborhood COCKroaches.In the end, I advise you to come here if every other hotel, bridge or freaking park bench is taken.

  : Good location with private parking which in Bucharest is a very big plus !
  : The room was dusty, need some cleaning. Nobody ventilate the room before my arrival and there was very hot with high humidity.
