  : The room was spacious, the access was easy and the owner received us in person to give us the key and show us the installations.
  : The bathroom was not very clean and the smell of air freshener was strong. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable.

  : The location was good and the fact that we were allowed to stay with our dog (golden retriever).
  : The room was very smelly and it was very dirty. This included the left over food in the minifridge from the guests before us.

  : The fact that we got our money back for one of the nights, when we announced we're leaving, on the second day.
  : 1. The really strong smells that hit us as soon as we entered the building,2. poor lighting on the hallways and inside the room3. uneven stairs (unexpected height variation made it easy to trip),4. the heat!! (was surprised by the lack of air conditioning / at least a fan or something other than "keep the blinds down", seeing how the room was facing the Southern side; I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was sometimes warmer inside the room than outdoors in the sun), 5. the fact that we were forced to keep the shades pulled down at all times (and they were broken anyway, so you couldn't pull them up even if you wanted to), so there was basically no view6. the "cleanliness" (serious lack of; to give some examples: shower seemed to not have been properly scrubbed in a while, was reluctant to use it because of this, the fridge had some stains inside from possibly spilled food or drinks and lots of dust on it; dust web/cobwebs on the walls, in the corners of the room etc), 7. the noise (felt like the walls were really thin and also lots of noise coming from the traffic from outside), 8. the lack of fresh air, except for at night when you could dare open the windows (while having to deal with even more noise). Overall it was a pretty bad experience, especially since some days before, for a similar amount per night, we stayed elsewhere in much, much better conditions. We ended up staying just one night and ended our trip sooner, because we just couldn't bear the conditions any longer. The host was nice enough to offer our money back for the second night, even though we were willing to leave regardless (so it was more of a proactive approach, though we appreciated it).
