  : A beautiful building with a stunning looking pool. Quiet location with lovely views of flamingos over the salt pans. Spacious appartment.
  : Despite calling and emailing days ahead about key collection it was still shambolic. Standing around - going to two locations - then a disinterested intro to the property. The lack of any reception or staff is a real pain on arrival. The fact that the apartments are a mix of My Choice and privately owned makes for a lifeless atmosphere. Rules like no balls or anything in pool, no washing outside to dry, no light outside - its all style over enjoyment. Oh and no cleaning for a week - we had bad ants but other than one replacement set of towels - told wed need to buy our own toilet rolls!

  : Too many rules.House not well divided.Upstairs bedroom without space to go to the second bed; always had to go over the first one.Too dark.Terrace only possible to use in the afternoon, as there was no shadow.For the check in and check out, had to leave the car too far away from the apartment, so a lot of going back and forth.Too many mosquitoes.

  : Highlight were the swimming pools and the architecture of the buildings.
  : Location is at the edge of the town, no explanation of where to find local businesses like grocery store, lunch etc. Also there were only four coffee capsules, and we were four people staying for 3 nights. I would also expect basics such as salt and pepper and cooking oil.

  : Tavira is wonderful and Convento das Bernardas is a beautiful spot - even tough clearly loosing in quality (the swimming pool was not cleaned every day like in the past, it had a lot of insects in the water and several tiles were missing).
  : The apartment is located in the parking lot - it's the less charming location in the compound. When we arrived, several appliances were not working: the air conditioning's remote control, the automatic litter bin, the kettle, the door bell, etc. None of this was checked before we arrived. For the price we pay, the service needs to be flawless - it's very far from it.

  : Apartment was infested with ants and cockroaches and frankly neither the agent nor booking.com responded to our complaints , the agent eventually offered us a discount against another trip , seem unlikely we would want to stay there again and booking.com ignored our messages and when we called just hung up on us , shocking customer service

  : It was clean and had a good location. The pool, privacy and security of the beautiful building were highlights.
  : There are many rules that we did not know about prior to booking. No drying of clothes outside. No balls round the pool. Not enough sun beds by the pool for the number of properties.The beds are very small and uncomfortable. As are the pillows. There were no spare towels provided for a weeks stay and no area allowed for drying clean ones ( outside).The stairs are very steep and not suitable for any young children. The lady who checked us in should not be in a customer facing position. She made us feel unwelcome and was not communicative. Bare minimum of details provided.The pictures made it look like we had outside space but there was not ( apart from round the pool) so we sat in the car park on our doorstep. The pictures are very misleading and we would not have booked it we knew this. The private parking space was too small for a medium to large car so we parked on the street. This was also not mentioned.

  : Our apartment had a shared pool just outside the door.
  : When we arrived at the apartment we were left outside in 36 degrees heat for 45 minutes until the staff member arrived although we had notified them of our arrival time. The door in our bedroom came off its hinges the second day of our stay and nothing was done about it despite us contacting the Operator on several occasions. The window in the bedroom was broken, the shower fixing was broken, the living room ac housing door was broken, etc. etc. We paid good money for this apartment and it was simply not up to scratch and the staff just didnt care.

  : Initially got a call saying overbooked but eventually sorted out although had to wait for representative with the keys
