  : very large room with patio very good bath bed and shower - nice decorated clean - room heating very good and aircon if you hit good weather - excellent location minutes from walks to palaces and easy downhill walk from station with great directions from the owners who couldn't be more helpful - breakfast self serve scrambled eggs - and lots of choice of cold things - worst thing processed sausages were not my favourite !
  : it was raining when we went fair bit of condensation outside of metal shutters but really did not bother us -towels etc replaced daily -

  : I had a very large room with lots of windows. It was comfortable and quiet at night.
  : It was hard to use the shower without getting water on the floor.

  : beautiful, clean & tastefully decorated room! The breakfast was good except that the pancakes got cold quickly. I did a lot of walking around and the Tourism Office building was a good landmark to get me back to the Guesthouse, as I was by myself. The staff were excellent! Beatrice and Karen were very helpful & pleasant. Both ladies were a pleasure to meet!
  : I would like to have had more of a view, from the terrace. That being said I did spend a great deal of the afternoon/evening walking around Sintra. I had supper at one of the local eateries so going back to my room & kicking up my heals to watch TV was Ok by me :) Bed was a bit firm for me, but not uncomfortable. I have a "Pillow Top" bed at home :)

  : The location is close to the village and only 1 short block from the tourist office. The room was spacious with a convenient sofa for lounging. The shower was large with both rain shower and hand spray mode. Breakfast offerings included scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, cheeses, ham and a few breads. Karen and her staff were helpful.
  : A few details could be improved to make a stay here much better. Our room (#4) was on the lower street level. It felt damp and had a definite musty smell. There are no hooks or racks for towels so we had to hang our bath towels over the shutter doors. Only 1 hand towel was provided for the two of us. In the kitchen, the paper towel roll was almost entirely used up. It should have been replenished. Instructions for the coffee maker would be really helpful. It took a while to figure out.

  : Great location, walkable to all the big Sintra sights. Staff were kind enough to store our bags. Breakfast good and buffet style with many different options. Comfortable firm bed, quiet area for sleeping. Wish I had booked another night!
  : Our room was in a separate building and we had to ring the doorbell at the main area for reception, breakfast, etc. Not a big deal but sometimes a slight delay due to staff doing other tasks. The shower (under the lip of the door) and floors could be cleaner.

  : It wasn't dirty, but it wasn't perfectly clean either. There was a bad odour in the room.
