  : A great sized bedroom, good amenities. The blinds are exceptional, darkest room weve stayed in. The staffed meet our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
  : There was a bath but not bath plug. But a very very minor thing.

  : Nice room, the lady Iet on arrival and the cleaner were lovely BUT due to my experience below.
  : If you want flexibility and the hosts to respond to your messages, do NOT stay here.I put in the wrong date, so I messaged within 20 minutes of making the booking requesting a date change, no comment. Then they resent the original message, ignoring my request.I then went into the booking to change the dates, eg request not once, not twice but five times and still no response.I received a message 7 hours after check-in and an email suggesting I book a 3rd night and stay on.Really, why would I want to stay on somewhere that made no attempt to contact me, which meant I paid for two nights but could only stay one night.When I talked to the manager on the phone, he turned it onto me. That I should have rung. So, what I was hearing is that it's the customers fault. The customer needs to do all the running around, sorry mate I did, but clearly messaging multiple times and trying to change the booking and emailing aren't enough.Leaving and picking up your luggage was left to cleaning staff to do. This experience put a real dampener on my time in Sintra

  : Cosy Sentra is on a fairly quiet street with nearby cafs. It was generally clean although our daughter found a piece of bacon on the floor in her room on the far side of the bed from the door.The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay.
  : Online pictures from Cosy Sintra management show breakfast being available. Signage in the bedroom showed breakfast being available. (Ive uploaded an example of the placard that was in our room showing breakfast hours.) In fact, Cosy Sintra has not served breakfast or anything else since the onset of the pandemic four years ago. This seemed to our way of thinking a deceptive practice. It is a time-saving to have breakfast available in a guest house and not have to go out to a caf to wait for service.In addition, we were given rooms on the very top floor that involved many many steps and a lowered ceiling in part of the room. Being in our 70s this was less than convenient. On the day that we arrived there was no hot water, and the problem was not corrected throughout the entire property until the middle of the next day. Thus no hot water for the first 14 hours of our stay. No accommodation or adjustment was offered for this inconvenience.

  : There is a strong smell of dampness all the time everywhere in the suite.Loose door handle on the bathroom door that could cause someone to get stuck there.The main light in the living room stopped working and when mentioned to staff they have said they will report it but nothing was done during our stay.No balcony just a shared terrace although it mentions a balcony when bookingStained sheetsBeing bitten by mosquitoes because of plants outside of window where they gathered and entered if we opened it. Hearing the mosquito singing all night was probably the worst night I've had there.Opening the curtains provides a clear view inside the suite as it faces the house and everyone comes and goes through the door outside the suite.Very old and feels like it has been unused for a long time.There is a bolted door with an opening at the top that leads (?)downstairs. The gap means there's cold air coming through it looked a bit creepy as if someone could bust into your room through the door. Luckily it was warm when we went so we didn't experience what it might be like in winter.
