: Far away, dusty, unconfortable (no sofa), not well maintained, not well equipped house, nothing to do at the area, bot easy to get a meal during the day, far to expensive - actually quite greedy from my point of view

: Very beautiful and peaceful place to stay for a few nights, especially for nature/bird/star lovers. You have to be there to experience the quiet, we spent the whole day on the premises and didn't see a soul. Bert and Marianne were very welcoming, passionate about the place and surroundings. The house we stayed in had everything we could whish for, also a small terrace with views over the surrounding area. There is a village closeby with a variety of restaurants and supermarkets.

: Friendly welcome from Bert. The lodges are set in pretty countryside, simply furnished but clean
: Unfortunately the access road to accommodation was very bad, we have stayed in lots of places off the beaten track & we live in the countryside ourselves, but this wasnt fit for purpose unless you had strong off road vehicle, we were very concerned we might damage the hire car (a VW T Cross.) We didnt dare venture out in the dark as felt unsafe. We wouldve been quite happy to cater at night except there was only a hob. No oven, microwave or toaster. The Wi-Fi was non existent ( this wasnt an issue really) but phone signal no better . It was supposed to work in public areas but it didnt. The swimming pool was being painted so we couldnt even use that. My husband used the bird hide & didnt manage to see anything- thats nature l suppose but he felt the set up was very overgrown & neglected. Im sorry to write such a negative review, but have to admit we were very disappointed & left after the first night. Very expensive compared to other similar properties. No partial refund was forthcoming but we didnt expect it really.
