  : Location was excellent.
  : We did not get the appropriate check in info 24 hours before and we left banging on the door with no answer, standing with all our bags. I would never go this route again having no one at establishment. There is NO ONE actually present ever. The contact info on door was useless. Attempted to call and was shown a video to watch that was no help at all. Extremely stressful.

  : Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a hydromassage tub. Hotel is very well located in near very good restaurants and pubs.

  : Firstly Directions to the apartment The Street runs from PC Batalha to the station. No car can drive on it because it is spectacularly steep. So steep there are four flights of granite steps making 27 steps in all. (See photos) We should have been warned by the host MyStay that that the taxi should drop as at PC Batalha. and not at the station. I called and I have written to MyStay before our trip so they knew that my partner Mr Wildin was 83, arrived early morning and yet omitted to warn us. Mr Wildin was dropped by his taxi at the station. There was no one around, he doesnt know the language, he couldnt call a taxi. He had to drag his 15kg suitcase all the way up Rua da Madeira, including the 27 steps, Thankfully he made it without a stroke or heart attack. MyStay have failed in their duty of care. Also myStay casually suggested that he leaves his suitcase at the station if all the lockers in the foyer are full. This would require him to walk Rua da Madeira. four times or take four taxis. Was this omission deliberate or incompetence? Secondly Rua da Madeira is a slum. So much of it is boarded up. There is broken bottles / glass, cans and cigarette stubbs lying around. There is graffiti everywhere.

  : The second room was spacious, nice and clean and everything was working properly. The location is great.
  : They put me in the wrong room first, claustrophobic tiny, without the fridge and Aircon was broken. So I had discomfort of moving my stuff to another room.
