  : It's a privilege to stay in such a beautiful building - and the restaurant was stunning. The staff we t out of their way to be helpful - especially Jacinta. Excellent food - the Royal Cake for breakfast was the most delicious cake I've ever tasted.
  : The original conversion is now outdated. The plumbing is noisy and we could hear our neighbour's plumbing. Our bathroom door didn't shut, let alone lock, so the cleaners nearly walked in on my husband in the toilet! The windows have integral blinds which look good but make it impossible to have natural ventilation when they're closed. This means you're reliant on the air-con - less pleasant and bad for the environment. Most of the furniture in the communal sitting areas was utilitarian and outdated. The billiard room was sort of set up for pool but the two cues had no tips and there was no rest. The tennis court is dilapidated and not really fit for use - it shouldn't be listed as an amenity. So overall, there is a need for a bot more investment. This must be an expensive building to run so perhaps improvements aren't commercially viable?

  : Lovely kitchen and gardens.
  : Good quiet location, close to the national park. Good amenities, nice swimming pool and restaurant on site.

  : Hotel and hotel grounds is stunning. Village not so much.
  : Breakfast service could be better. Waiter clearly felt miserable about his job and it showed by the lack of care doing it.

  : The building and grounds are visually beautiful. Very good breakfast. One of the reception guys and one of the waiters were very nice.
  : Carpet in the room very very dirty. Couldn't sleep well. No ability to make tea or coffee in the room. Lots of road noise. Can't turn on the bathroom light without waking your partner. Bathroom faucet knob difficult to move; toilet hard to flush. I don't like that they tack extra charges onto things without asking. It's an expensive hotel and I felt like they were trying to take advantage of rich people who wouldn't notice, but I'm not rich and it made me feel bad. If this is what luxury is, I don't like it.
