The chapel has been converted into a lounge and bar yet keeping many original features.

: wonderful peaceful and quiet location and a really imaginative adaptation of an old Monastery en route to the Serra Estrella by motorcycle. Great meal, lovely waiting staff and exceptional own wine and atmospheric lounges in the former ancient buildings and lovely dining room with terraces overlooking the valley. Our room was on the lower level and was well appointed with a lovely sunny balcony above a gorgeous wild garden thrumming with nature.
: Sadly (it was early in the season and we arrived with a couple of hours notice, as we tend to do)) our room smelt of damp and the bed had not been aired and was also damp. Such a shame that no one had checked it before our arrival. We had to get a second key to leave the power on while we went for supper above, leaving the heating on full blast to try and rectify things. I'm sure this wouldn't have happened later in the season when the weather has warmed up but it really did spoil our stay.

: location is great overlooking the valley with mountains on the other side. The patio was great place to have a drink before dinner.
: The male host in dining room was not friendly or welcoming. He ignored us and most of the other guests. He never checked with us about our meal. It seemed like he did not want to be there.
